I imagine you might find the same high rpm shifting issues with the mt82 in its current form, but just wanted to say that the gear ratios are much different now than they were pre-2018. The ratios are further apart now.

Im buying a dark horse at $7K over MSRP. Dealerships aren’t gonna stop marking up just because I decided to pass on a price I was willing to pay.

I’m considering asking my dealer to order the appearance pack with the vinyl so I can remove the vinyl later. I don’t know though… removing the decals that comes from the factory seems wrong to me. For now he has agreed to order vapor blue for me.

At least one person in this thread was complaining about it though.

How to get access to the esourcebook? A 60-90 page pamphlet of nothing but written content on the 2024 mustang sounds like a good way to pass the time.

It’s priced almost like a fully loaded gt premium plus some extra stuff. I mostly care about the fact that the manual model uses the tremec transmission instead of the getrag unit. The extra stuff just adds to the prestige for me which I value as well.

Yea it’s the closest picture I could find to my spec. The stance and the front lip look like handling package. But tires are most like an all season or summer tire. as far as the splash guards on the wheel wells, I’ve seen a few of handling package pre-production dark horses without them.

According to the order guide, you get a black painted roof with the vinyl stripes. I don't think the vinyl stripes carry over past the hood. If you opt for both the appearance package and the painted stripes, the painted stripes will override the black painted roof that comes with the appearance...

I sold it so I could try out the Jeep life. I went manual transmission but there is an open recall on it that Jeep is never gonna fix. So I’m going back to mustang.

Yep, I fall under that category. I’m sure I wouldn’t have any trouble with getrag since I don’t track my cars. But I love the ratios on the tremec. I used to have a 21 Mach 1.

That's better than some dealers I've heard doing 15K or even 30K over MSRP. A dealership near me in houston was doing $7K over MSRP. I wonder how long that will last. I secured one of their allocations two days ago.
