My dealer told me the painted stripe would cause delays because it is late availability. That is corroborated by the order guide. Maybe your dealer confused the painted stripe for the upgraded vinyl stripe that comes with the appearance package.

Yea you need a VIN. So you have to wait until your vehicle is scheduled for production which is when you’ll get your VIN.

Most of the people getting build weeks either ordered from Canada or else I assume they are purchasing the pre-configured allocation from their dealership. Pre-configured meaning that Ford placed the order in behalf of the dealership.

My dark horse is priority code 19. My 21 Mach 1 was also priority code 19. I think it depends on your dealer. Sometimes dealers will give customers their first allocation which is most likely gonna be priority code 1 because the first allocation is pre-configured by Ford.

Ford does scheduling on Thursdays or so I’ve read. So maybe the Thursday following your order confirmation from Ford. It’s still anyone’s best guess though.
