App update sucks. I posted a thread about it earlier in the week that my oil life went back to 100% after the update. I have no idea why, unless some elves came by my house overnight and gave me an oil change. Super lame update that is less user-friendly.
I've never done it on a car but am considering doing it on the front end, over black painted areas, the rear trunk panel, and possibly the fenders. I'm mostly just so over dealing with rock chips and the trunk panel getting so filthy for whatever reason. Ideally I'd do the whole car if it wasn't...
The reasoning they once gave me for an interior rattle was that they had to have Ford approve the work first before they started tearing into the car, otherwise Ford might not reimburse them if they proceeded. But they had to have a good idea of what was causing the rattle before digging into...
Recently came upon these "qualities" after opening the trunk to dry the inside as water doesn't seem to drain well. I'm not sure if these are defects or normal, but they did catch my attention.
The FordPass app recently updated. I don't like the updated app as much as the previous version, but I can live with it. The trouble is when the app updated, it suddenly said my oil life in the car was 100%, when I know it was at 60% before the update. I checked it in the car to confirm, and...
Congrats! I think Carbonized Grey is the nicest grey Ford has done. I remember in the mid-00s they had some funky ones like Mineral Grey, which looked brown, Tungsten Grey, which looked purple in certain light, and Vapor Grey, which had a slight green tint. Carbonized Grey is like the perfect...
Looks great. Even with spoiler delete, the S650's rear already gives a bit of a spoiler effect with that upper portion that sticks out. I feel like it's the only more modern Mustang that doesn't really need it, unlike say, the S197 which to me just looked naked without it.
I'd get it and just replace it later since the holes will already be there to be reused. Or you can wrap/paint it in black to maintain a bit of a spoiler delete effect. (Unless the car is black.)
Right. That's a critical detail. The KIND of GT you get is important. If you spec out a GT with Performance Package with 3.73 gears and Brembos, MagneRide, and Active Exhaust, you won't be able to tell much of a difference between the two. If you go base GT with none of that... you will.
That...
Here we go again! š
A GT with Performance Pack drives and handles very similarly to a Dark Horse with non-handling pack. (I've driven both.) If money is not an issue, honestly, just pay a few thousand dollars more and get a Dark Horse. Especially if you're already planning to add every last...
Sounds bizarre. I test drove a Dark Horse for shits and giggles a few weeks ago and made it clear to the dealer thatās all it was going to be. They were charging $15K over sticker. They let me drive it. Didnāt even take my driver license. I just pointed out my own car and I guess that was...
Hey, whatever floats your boat! If you like it, that's all that matters.
That said, I wonder if this could fool potential car thieves into thinking it's a manual, therefore, serving as a bit of a deterrent.
The dealer should be willing to take care of that under warranty. They may be able to take off the black panel above the radiator to access it without pulling off the whole bumper.
