Honestly, let it rest! Years ago, I had a 2008 BULLITT Mustang. A very popular cruise magazine used a picture of my car among others to advertise their magazine. I was happy to see my car in the picture beside cars that belonged to two great friends who have since passed away. When I look at...
My 2024 GT Premium went into storage about 30 days ago. It's setting covered in my home garage with a Battery Tender attached.
I was wondering if updates Ford sent out will be completed on my car while it's living on the battery tender.
I guess it all depends on how you feel about the car. Some people put winter tires on them and drive them all winter. What are your thoughts on treating the car as a daily driver or a show queen? Are you keeping the car pristine for the next owner? Many 24 Mustangs in the northeast were shipped...
Mustang will die when it becomes a sedan.
And my two cents after a few months of ownership...
My car 24 GT Premium sits covered in my garage waiting for the end of the Pennsylvania winter. I'm wondering how many recalls it will rack up until next April. Maybe FORD should fire those engineers...
I have the Shadow Black with the Bronze Wheel Package and Red Brembo Brake Calipers. On a Black car they look great and over the summer, I had many people say the wheels make the car. Honestly, the silver painted wheels look too much like the standard wheel that would come on an EcoBoost. They...
Honestly, if you don't track or race and use the car for a daily driver and an occasional sprint of power, get the GT. I have the Premium GT with the A-10 Auto, and the Brembo Brake Package. It's a great car to drive and have fun with any day of the week. Maybe the extra cost 3:55 rear axle...
I bought my 2024 for the same reason. I had two Shelby's and four BULLITTS. I got tired of the stick shift. The A-10 is so smooth and there's no way you can shift a manual as fast. If you want control, use the paddles! Honestly, many of the manual transmissions do not work very well. Yes, some...
My GT with 3:15 gears and A-10 has been showing between 19 and 21 mpg during the last tank of fuel. I've have been driving around town like "GRANDPA" since the car now has only 773 miles on it. I'm sure that if I get into it, I'll lose some MPG'S! So far so good!
Having owned a 2020 BULLITT and now a 2024 GT, both cars have good and bad. I liked the clean grille on the 2020. IMHO, the grille in the 2024 has way too much shiny black. I bought a black car to tone down the front appearance. The side of the 2024 is nicer and the tail on the 2024 has a slight...
I bought a Shadow Black GT since the rest of the color choices reminded me of a poor grade of PRIMER! Mustang has had so many beautiful colors in the past. Battleship Gray and Desert Tan are just plain ugly unless you are in the military!!
Maybe they are forcing all of us into Black, White or 18...
Ford should do a recall and fix this. After my MSRP of over $56K with little or no rebates, Ford now wants me to spend another $100 and time to fix their mistake.
As I've written before, I'm not really happy with the dash controls in my GT. I can understand the frustration of many people. I have a 2022 Chevy Equinox. The screen is simple and quick. The screen on my 24 GT reminds me of the old tube type radios that had to warm up to operate. When I start...
And BTW, if this is your "GET TO WORK CAR" what happens if you destroy an engine? I don't think your local Ford dealer has ten in stock! Do you have plan two to get yourself to work?
The only way I would buy the GT 350 is if it was a weekend fun car and I had very deep pockets to fix breakdowns.
I would go with the new GT that has a warranty and many nice features. Honestly there are many horror stories out there about the GT 350 engine. A friend of mine had two GT350's and both burned a lot of oil. I think your chances of getting a bad car are high. Also keep in mind that a Shelby is a...
After I read thru other posts it appears as though mounting Tender directly to the battery posts isn't a great idea since it might interfere with the Battery Control Module. I guess I'll use the fuse box positive and the ground post negative on the shock tower. I hope I can make it look neat...
