I had the same problem. I'm pretty sure the tracker is correct. My dealer acknowledged they entered it wrong and fixed the order after I had the VIN, and the tracker now shows it correctly. No other change to my scheduling or VIN happened.

I kind of wonder if those emails are automatic based on how long the order has been in the system. Not everyone got them at first, just the first people who ordered, then others later, but still not everyone. Don't know, but I'd say keep hope.

Yep, fair point and proof there are no guarantees until it's built. But did they indicate that's why they moved it? I understood others got moved out when they prolonged their quality improvement efforts in May, also coinciding with supply chain issues...

Found another thread on this. Seems most of the kinks were worked out. D4 doesn't seem to have the broken fork issues so much (maybe only driver error now?) or high rev shift issues. Maybe rev matching will help some folks as well. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Thank you @Skye! That's great detail. What Bikeman315 posted (I think) is the agreement from the app that says exactly what I raised a concern about. If Ford doesn't use the data in the way they require us to agree, but require agreement for purposes that are legitimately in our interests...

Would love feedback on the app. It says you give Ford permission to use all your personal and car data, and to sell it to others. Am I missing something there? Seems like no one would want to use the app with such an invasion of privacy, no? Does anyone have a better understanding of this?

Interesting to read the various opinions. I wouldn't bank on rumors though. Ford could just as easily end the Mustang as we know it early. I'm sure both cars have their advantages and could see why folks go for either one. For me, new car, new tech, arguably faster, first owner, warranty….
