Today I tinted the rear window and the two small side windows with 5% ceramic tint.

The car looks so much better now.

After testing out the RedTiger F17 Elite, I know installed the Viofo A329S.

I like the fact that the Viofo A329S allows me to use the USB port from the rear view mirror to power all 3 camera's.

The RedTiger only works normally if you don't connect the rear camera. It seems that the USB port from the rear view mirror doesn't have enough power to get all 3 camera's working.

I'm happy with the front and rear camera from the Viofo but I miss the interior camera quality from the RedTiger. But hey, this is a dashcam and not a princess mirror to look at yourself 😂😂😂

You can also set a timer on the VioFo to shut off after locking the vehicle, but even then, I'm a bit paranoia about my car battery, so I just unplug the USB port.

Today I removed the battery from the vehicle and brought it inside on a trickle charger.
Tomorrow i'm going to drive my very last round on the island, wash the car, put it inside a shipping container, leave the driver window open, leave the hood open, unplug the minus from the battery and put a car cover on the vehicle. This way I will receive the car without a dead battery.

The ship is sailing next week, going first to Colombia before stopping in Spain and France.
The whole route will take roughly 34 days.

Since the ship is coming from Colombia, it will take 2 more weeks at the port before the expeditors can pick up the container because they always do 100% checks on everything coming from the Caribbean and South America.

This means I will take delivery of the vehicle around the 31th of August as the soonest, but probably it would be the first week of September.

But that's not all. I'm not allowed to drive the car before getting it on plates.
Getting the car on plates will take another 4 to 8 weeks.

The soonest date I can drive my Mustang again would be the end of September and if I'm unlucky it will be the end of October.

It's crazy to think about it this way. I hate bureucracy.

That sounds horrible.

I shipped a car to Germany and then again another one from Germany to the US, so I understand waiting.
Update: Today I got called by the shipping company. Instead of today, I have to bring the car next week, because the ship went in for repairs. Another ship will sail in 2 weeks, so another week of delay. Great.
