Mission accomplished. Definitely more room in the wheel wells now.

I'll need to give the wheels a good scrub a dub dub and some treatment but that will be for another day when the car settles and it isn't raining on and off.

I've done this with my S550 over on Mustang6G so wanted to the same for this vehicle.

I've been driving a 2021 GT Premium that has been Supercharged (Roush Phase 2) and have been enjoying that however I missed having a manual transmission. The A10 is great but "strap in, press peddle, hang on" gets old after a while.

So I started looking for a manual and figured I wasn't going to get another S550 as the S650 has really started to grow on me. Then I saw a white one from YouTube and fell in love. Found a local(ish) dealership that had an order in for everything but the Appearance Package (don't want blue brake callipers anyways) so put my deposit down.

The journey begins here.

In other news. I popped ANOTHER pin on my retaining clips for the fender flares today from a 200km trip (at 110kmph). This is getting a little rediculous! Going to see about getting these flares removed, cleaned and reinstalled properly by a Ford dealership.

The good news is that even with the supercharger I can still get 11.7 litres / 100km (20mph) so my trip to Tail of the Dragon in July should be no major issues (as in I can keep up with the other 16 cars going without having to stop for gas every 76 feet).

Sadly, my local Ford dealership was not confident they could complete uninstall them, refresh them and reinstall them. I guess Ford doesn't sell these kits to the dealerships to prevent them from up-optioning non Dark Horse vehicles. I applaud their tech's honesty about not really being sure he could do it.

So, I'm going to have to tackle this myself or find a bodyshop that thinks they can tackle it.

Appreciate all the info. Definitely looking at putting 20’s on my dark horse with HP. Looking at those same wheels. Will have to think a little more about tire size and such. Great looking car.

The two options you have for 20s (for the VF10)

275/35R20 and 315/35R20
285/30R20 and 315/30R20

If you have a lowered GT (with Sport Progressives) without the wheel DH lip moldings you can get away with 285/35R20 but there will be a slight grazing of the inner carpet.

If you have a lowered DH (with Sport Progressives) they recommend the 275/35 or 285/30 in the front.

Took the car to Miltowne Collision in Milton and they fixed me right up. Coming back on hwy I went 120kph and never popped a pin. Been driving around town a bit and don't seem to have popped the pins yet.

My next appointment is with Tint World in Mississauga (under new management by the Burlington Tint World team) and they are going to fix a PPF segment that is lifting in the passenger side air intake nostrel.

Since I’m doing stage 2 and will probably do springs, I will probably do the 275 and 315. I’m keeping the Pirelli RS’s for the track.
