  1. Using 2X4 instead of jacking rails

I had the idea of channeling a 2x4 years ago but I was also worried about splitting. Race Ramps are the way to go. And if you use full synthetic and drive like a granny maybe 5-6k miles max. I run E85 and drive like Dale Earnhardt so it's every 3k miles ...lol
  2. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

Cool, I have the bleeder kit from Optimim performance with one under my belt on Mach 1. Thanks !
  3. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

I don't think any instructors are given for Track Night in America events. Just a little more instruction before and maybe a pace lap. So this is not my first event , first in Dark Horse. But over the last 5 years I've only done a couple so I'm still green. Do I really need to change the...
  4. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

Didn't you hear, Trump changed the name of that corner to American Corner... lol Come on out on the 27th?
  5. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

Sounds awesome man, I hope you have a blast! Drifting would be fun but talk about tire wear! lol I’m going to check this video out
  6. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

I do plan on bringing a spare tire from my all season set, and a floor jack or scissor jack. Scary part is it’s a Sunday and a flatbed ride back would be expensive. Cars got 9k miles on it, been flex tuned for 10 months, no issues (knock on wood)
  7. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

Yeah, it’s all interstate too, pretty easy drive. Mine suspension is stock non-hp. And thank you, took me many years of mistakes to finally find the perfect wheel tire combo for stock ride height on these cars.
  8. First Time at the Track - Dark Horse - Road America

So I signed up for a "Track Night in America" SCCA event at Road America on Sunday, Sept 27th. Novice group. I've always wanted to drive this track, it's a big boy track at 4.5 miles. I'm pretty green, only been to track a few times before over the last 5 years and that was with my auto Mach 1...

Great info! Fact are facts. Not just people spewing what they hear on the internet. I love when this shit gets debunked. They will never admit being wrong though...lol
  12. H-pipe resonator delete - who has done it?

I did it myself on Jack Stands on my Mach 1 and now the Dark Horse. It is the perfect mod! Gurgles and volume are just right and a little weight savings too
  13. Who has removed their engine covers

My brother did this on both his Hemi Durango and Challenger. He said they hold heat in. I told him he's full of it! lol The Mach 1 and GT350 had no cover . Give me some proof and I'll remove it,
  14. Ford Says It Makes 500 hp, Four Different Dynos Give Four Different Results

You sure about that? I read an article about a week ago where the top M guy was talking about how they don’t want to reengineer a new manual transmission to handle the power increases because they just aren’t selling enough manuals. If it’s just a clutch why doesn’t BMW just install a beefier...
  15. Ford Says It Makes 500 hp, Four Different Dynos Give Four Different Results

Because it has more HP going to the wheels. Watch any video online M2 vs mustang, Mustang loses every time. I cross shopped them , and almost went with the M2 but I didn’t like the shifter and I didn’t like the exhaust. 2 of the most important things. Looks went to the Dark Horse as well...
