Just put in my Steeda clutch spring.
Guess I will find out here ina bit when I head out on how it feels. I honestly didnt think the stock spring felt bad and I thought this was one of the easiest manuals I have driven in my years. I hope it made a difference but for $30 not a loss if its a wash in feel
The most difficult part is the installation. As in, the results of the application overwhelm the difficulty of installation, even if you have three hands or compression tools available, the results are still a greater improvement than the difficulty required, when roi (pronounce roy - lol) is considered.

long story short, howโ€™d you like it (the results of the modification)?

well either the videos from people really embellished the impact or they made a big difference from s550-650 cause I honestly dont feel much difference at all with the clutch spring change.

Did you reinstall the old one, there should be a perceptible difference between 130 and 35 lbs.

nope took the old one out the night before and was just playing around with no spring in garage and clutch felt the same. New one came in next morning and installed it and took it out and I feel almost zero difference in weight of the clutch or the engagement. I will say putting the new one in was so much nicer then getting the old one out. That was probably the only difference i noticed between the two

Looks great, did you do ceramic? And what percentage did get?
Thank you. I asked for ceramic. 25% on the sides and 15% on the back. Frankly, I canโ€™t tell if he just did 25% all around. He said he had a hard time with the rear windshield (getting the low edge tucked). Happy with the result overall. But, I will likely bring it back to see if he can touch a few things up.

Yeah mine shot half way across the floorpan and the seat (for the spring - almost thought we were gonna have to go to parts and get another) ended up way up in the backside of the dash, caught behind the steering wheel, round about that time honey bear got curious and boy did her hand came in handy once we found the seat. Trying to press the pedal compress the spring and place it with only two hands while upside down and backwards overhead wasnโ€™t exactly the yoga pose i was prepared to conquer.

So my 24 I got it and i felt it. But for some reason my 26 clutch seems way better and smoother than my 24. Wonโ€™t be adding it this time around.

got my new shift knob from the Coyote badge shop on Amazon.
I had the short teardrop from billetworkz but I just didnt like it in this car with it being taller. If I had a shorter shit lever installed maybe it woulda felt better. I liked the smaller sphere like stock. its about same weight as the stock knob but only cost $40

Thanks for posting. I just got a new s650 and this was one of the mods on my list to check on in more detail.
