Not just condensation, actual water stains. Brand new 2026, drove through a rainstorm in the Midwest en route to California after buying the car on the East Coast.

These are on the inside of the housing, even on the ridged black plastic material inside the headlight. The other headlight doesn't have any of this, so I believe this is a faulty seal. Guess it's another trip to the dealer.

Ford quality 💩:curse:

Greetings,
I saw this on a 2025 DH at a cars and coffee meet. His had spots and sitting water. They looked like drained fish tanks. He reported it and his dealer is going to swap them out. Didn't see any apparent damage or cracks so no idea how the water got in there. He's never been to a car wash, etc. Only rain like you.

I think the real question is why you drove 3000 miles instead of having it shipped?
I love driving roadtrips and seeing different parts of America, so just turned it into a little adventure.

Took the car to the dealer today, Service Advisor refused to believe the stains are on the inside. He was convinced they're external hard water stains from a sprinkler, and was trying to submit a case to Ford for a detailer to "acid wash" them off . That can't be good for the plastic housing or UV protectant layer.

Plus, the car's parked inside and has never been near sprinklers. But I think the tiny size of the dots shows they're not normal water droplets from a sprinkler or rain. They're too small to be that, they look 'spritzed' onto the lens from a tiny leak in back somewhere.

After some back-and-forth, I offered to email him my photos and he said he'll submit to Ford. Resolution TBD.

He would have bought a ship if he wanted to sail. A car is to drive it.

What is better than driving 3000 miles and turning it i to a roadtrip? That's what a car is for right?

My thoughts exactly. A little shorter trip but I bought my stang in Phoenix AZ and drove it about 900 miles back to the Bay Area, CA. It was a blast. I bought this car so I could drive it, not put it on a trailer!

i was surprised when i went to the track attack included with the dark horse no one but me in my group drove their car down
i drove from pa to nc

i did see one in the hotel parking lot but they must have been secluded for different day as it was not at the track

Unfortunately there are many people buying this car to store it in the garage so that the next buyer can enjoy it. Don't understand that logic though.

It depends on the person why did you ship your car from the east coast to Vancouver and not drive it?

Because I was not even in Canada. I ordered the car online. If you followed my journey you would have knew that I lived in the Caribbean and shipped it to there first.

And I didn't ship my car from the East coast to Vancouver. It's the other way around. I bought my car in Vancouver Island and shipped it to the East coast and then got on a ship to the Caribbean.

You really thought you got me there huh?
Nice try 🤣

So it's okay for you to ship for whatever reason. Then you come on here and mock people for shipping their car. Just pointing out you kind of come off as a bit of a jerk so there's your gotcha.

First of all. I lived in the Caribbean and a few months after my purchase I moved to Europe

How in the world would I have driven that car back home from Vancouver Island to Sint-Maarten? The car was not even registered in Canada since I don't even live in Canada. The car left the country unregistered.

After your first fail you still want to go further with your nonsense?

You are so mad that you were wrong that you can't even use your logic anymore.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You are so self centered you miss the point all together. The point is stop talking people down when you have done the same thing. As for continuing this nonsense with someone who doesn't understand basic courtesy so goodbye.

I didn't miss the point. You brought up a different point that is not even correct.

Who is the one here who brought up the fact that I didn't drive my car in Canada during the purchase. Did I brought this up, or did you brought this up?

So why are you trying to blame me of missing the point while you failed hard here.

You do know that you need a Canadian adress to register a car and insure a car in Canada right?

I think you miss a screw, go find it.
