Red calipers on Carbonized Gray Dark Horse — good idea or leave them black?

Just picked up a new Mustang Dark Horse in Carbonized Gray, and it came with the stock black Brembo calipers. I’m considering changing them to red because I like the extra contrast and the way red makes the brakes stand out a bit more behind the wheels.

At the same time, I’m not sure if red calipers on Carbonized Gray is a timeless combo or if the stock black setup looks better and more in line with the Dark Horse’s understated/aggressive vibe.

For those who have a similar color combo or have done something similar, would you keep the black Brembos or switch to red?
Do red calipers work well on Carbonized Gray, or is black the better choice here?

Would appreciate opinions or photos from anyone with a similar setup.

I'm planning to change mine from blue to red. Can't go wrong with red, and I do like the contrast. I think it will look great on your color.

When I ordered my Carbonised Grey it was when it was supplied with the Blue callipers which I was quite happy about.
When it finally turned up it was a 25 model so came as yours with the Black.
To be honest I've just left them as is and quite like them now.

Sorry it's not the best lit photo, but here is a GT PP in Carbonized Gray, with the red calipers.

PP Wheels make them a bit hard to see, but it works.

It really depends on what YOU think looks best. FWIW, I got out of a four year relationship with gloss black rims and red calipers. Never again. The fronts are hard to keep clean and always look dirty. And for ME, red calipers are kinda tired and passe.... oooh look at me, I have red calipers, I'm high-performance . Personally, I like understated. I have black on my shadow black car and love the look. I have never cleaned them and they don't look dirty.

Yup! Like I said, for ME. Totally a personal preference issue. No right or wrong.

On a gray car I like black calipers. Granted my STI was a few shades darker than the carbonized gray but I'm glad I had black calipers.

I personally like the matte black Brembo calipers. You can always generate an AI image to give you the feel of real life.

Thanks for all the answers, my MACH 1 has red ones, and I believe I'll miss them, but I wondering if the dark look may end up winning. This is my actual car. If had the option when buying, I would have choosed red ones, but painting them makes me wonder.
