Well, Steeda is selling the Cobra Jet intake with the Boschma adapter for the dual throttle bodies, and GSC camshafts. The R2 camshaft will allow you to keep the VCT, but you need a tuner who can work with after market cams. The R3 requires the VCT to be locked. Steeda also used 2" headers on that car, and a very free flowing exhaust. The Ford exhaust gets restrictive right before the resonator. You can run a 3" pipe off of the header collector into a three inch system to replace the resonator and neck it down to fit your stock mufflers at the back of the car after the exhaust has cooled some.

Each thing picks up a little horsepower on its own, but added together it ends up being a lot, and now they are running 9s without C85. They used pump E85.

Yeah, I thought about kit with camshafts and intake, but
1. It will be not street car anymore
2. I don’t want to change anything in engine, as it will be very difficult to sell it

I did
1. Steeda CAI
2. Longtubes
3. Catless + H
4. Carbon driveshaft and rotors
5. Drag pack
6. At N/A c85 same power as e85, the problem is I can by c85 from Australia or I have to buy ethanol at factory and mix it at home with 93 :)

Just a note that R3 cams do not require locking out the phasers, but it can be done if you wish. We have a customer running R3's into the 9,000rpm range with very good VCT function. Any of our cams can be locked out, but it's never necessary.

If anyone is interested in our cams, for the S650 or any other platform, I'm happy to help.

Steeda used the R2, though, correct?

9000 rpm, yikes! I am just now getting used to the fact that Ford has my car shifting automatically up at 7500. My classic Pontiac engine used to have a redline at 5200, lol.

I bought just cobra jet intake with Boschma’s adapter

don’t want to go inside engine to install cams

cobra will give +40whp at 6500-7500 rpm

still have a hope to run 10.999 N/A e85 on drag track)

That is correct. Reports to us is that our springs were used up to 10,400rpm at TX2K a few weeks ago. We're familiar with running well up top :like:
