You're going to enjoy it - it's almost insane when you really punch it. Mine feels like an airplane wanting to take off if I mash the throttle down hard enough.
almost? I've been high 10's to low 11's on the last bike I (seriously) drag raced, a well built ZX11 Kawasaki. Edmunds reported what, 11.6? The 11 was 520 # wet and over geared to control the wheelies. down 3 teeth on the rear sprocket and she put down 155 rwhp, 90 tq. So yes, as a car, it's pretty nuts.

I’m ready!!
You think you are. Trust me, use much respect on the first few drives and gradually roll into the power to get a feel for it.

I appreciate the concern. I have been racing since my teens, Formula Dodge, ASA stock cars and more DE events than I can count. My last car was a Tesla Model S Plaid that runs low 9’s so I am use to the power.

Can’t wait!

What Smurf said.

I think many of us have had high power vehicles (bikes, cars, whatever) "since we were teenagers" but every car, much like women, is very different than anything you may have ridden before. They handle differently, they accelerate differently, they slip side to side differently, they even yell at you differently.

Enjoy the first few drives and roll onto it.

But if you ignore all of us and mash it the first time out of the gate make sure you have it recorded so we can add it to the "Mustangs Doing Mustang Things" reels. 🤣

I think the first time I mash on it will be coming out of a Cars and Coffee in 40 degree temps in the middle of turning right!

Just to update. Mine was delivered last Thursday the 5th. 1 day short of 11 weeks from order, but good ol' Fed-Ex did cause a 2-day delay in delivery by shipping the two boxes through different routes. You know, the two boxes that started at the same place and ended up at the same place by the same shipper who deemed it wise to separate the two boxes after their first stopover, only to re-unite them 5 days later for delivery. I think someone needs to give Fed-Ex's AI logistics algorithm a checkup. Technically, the delivery did arrive within the advertised window, so whatever. Anyway, installation starts tonight.
