Hellion Base Turbos

Purchased a Hellion sleeper kit (BASE 62 TURBOS) for my 24 GT and having a well known shop in my area do the install. I 'am also adding Fore Innovation Triple Pump Fuel System, Billet OPG/CRANK SPORCKET, ID 1050X injectors, ARP Head Studs, Cometic MLX Head Gaskets, and GSC Valve Springs.

I've heard a lot of good things in regards to the base turbos in terms of reliability and capable of holding a good amount of power. I 'am still stock motor and trans, but in the mean time I was wondering if the base turbos could handle 1k HP. I don't plan on driving on 20lbs of boost everyday, but was wondering if it could handle it. I don't beat on my car just the occasional street pulls and spirited driving. I do plan on upgrading the turbos and building the trans in the near future.

Anyone have any experiences with the base turbos?

Had some spare $$$$ left and since I plan on turning it up in a couple of months I thought it would've been good insurance.
