Going to look at a couple of dark horses tomorrow. It is going to be a toy, date night, and occasionally drive to work car. Is the ECU unlocked for custom tunes? I live close to lebanon ford that does the whipple kit. If I go DH it is 100% getting some kind of boost. They don't do pro charger though. How far can I take the DH before I need to upgrade internal motor parts or transmission? Any other locations to add performance recommendations in Ohio or Indiana? Willing to travel to ensure the car goes to the right person/shop.

supporting vendors here, who are right now running a pretty damn good promotion on superchargers have generally reported the 'stage 2 whipple' level of performance as sustainable on the current gen 302. There is more in it, but I'll defer to the vendors/tuners with actual experience.

I Already melted a cat on the stage 1 whipple. Fixed for free but I can't retain warranty and go catless.

As of very recently, Procharger has officially completed their calibration for Mustang so we are also offering that now! Warranty is available on the HO kit too so we are ready to rock

I have a 2024 Shadow Black, Dark Horse premium, 700a, Handling package,Appearance package, Recaro, and Tremec 6 spd. I have a Stage 1 Whipple with the competition open air boxes. DSS 2000 hp rear axles and the complete Steeda stop the hope kit and IRS brace. After the warranty runs out next year I'm going to step up to stage 2 with tuning and upgraded systems to get a true 800 rear wheel horsepower. I love this car and am looking forward to spring so I can bring "Lucifer" out of winter hibernation. My advice buy one and have fun.

Thats surprising how rich the whipple tunes are for power enrichment. And cat over temp is still on but temp limits are raised 50f. I wouldnt think it was the whipple that did it.
