Hi guys - keep seeing lot of Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals going on for s650 supercharger. I have a base GT with active exhaust and Kooks LTH installed. I’m planning for around 750 whp. Suggestions on which way would be better and how much it will cost including supercharge/turbo setup and any other necessary mods? TIA.

Supercharger is a simpler setup. Turbo is adjustable and will make more power given the same amount of boost.

Either one will get you the horsepower you want. You may even be able to do the supercharger yourself. The turbo would require a lot more mechanical skill.

For a 750 horsepower target, you can even get something like a warranty from Whipple (does Roush have a similar warranty?). You are going to be over 800 horsepower with the supercharger, though. You already installed headers, and even the base Stage 1 Whipple is 810 hp. Stage 2 is 875, and you added headers. Get rid of any other exhaust restrictions, do custom tuning, and even more. E85, even more.

If you install a 4 inch pulley, the largest that will fit, you might be able to get it under 800 horsepower, but I doubt it with headers already and custom tuning. In short, there is no way to get it down to 750 horsepower.

With a turbo, however, you can dial in the boost. There are several ways to accomplish this, but the short story is you can keep lowering the boost until you get only 750 horsepower. You can raise it up when you want more.

I’ve seen Whipple/Roush providing warranty. I’m leaning more towards ESS n Procharger. But not lot of new s650 out there with these kits n also to look at the dyno numbers. Also price is definitely big win on these n as we speak ESS is already sold out. Turbos I know of Hellion for s650. Am I missing anything?

Unless you plan on making 1200+hp, and since you only want '750rwhp' and you have LT's there's no reason to look at turbo's .

What are your plans for the car? If you just wanna fast car to roll race down the interstate Centri's will make more than enough power.

Drag racing, Any of the Whipple based kits for the low end torque, I know people will argue about that But ... ./

I don't think the ESS is available yet, it's been listed as 'Coming Soon' since Brevin 1st posted bout it and I've never seen an option to buy.

You just missed Procharger's 15% off sale with their P1X Stage 2 for $7450. Stage 1 was 6800. Basically the same price as the ESS G3X.

I came close to buying a stage 1 P1X but decided I really don't need another high HP daily driver.

There's a few Procharger vid's out there, A P1-X can easily make 850rwhp but you'll need a fuel system.

This is my daily driver n I live in Denver so it does snow here. But I got winter tires for that. Driving superchargered GT on snow will that make it through end of winter? I mean roads already slippery n with more power? Yeah with LTH makes more sense to go supercharger route rather than Turbo. So with Whipple it says complete kit for like $10k with Warranty does that include fuel system or that’s extra? Also for Procharger P1X stage 1 do I need fuel system? Also on side note I got a buddy who has a Durango SRT Hellcat which is stock. Can I gap him with having supercharger lol 😂 Have seen few videos of GT beating Hellcats
