Did you just do the resonator delete? Still running the stock mufflers? It sounds great!
yeah just replaced the factory resonator, which i think also has some kind of internal H or X setup?

and the active exhaust from factory

Yessir!!! I had an X Pipe installed initially and ran that for a few months but kept running in to a guy on my way in to work and his GT sounded so different and deep. Finally approached the guy for a quick conversation and found out that he had an H Pipe installed. That was the end of my X Pipe days needless to say!!

Sounds great, the normal start up shouldn't bother the neighbors much, these really arent all that loud until you mess wit the headers. But maybe my ears are messed up lol my previous car was a 21 sti with headers and a turbo back exhaust.

I need to hear a double-h with active exhaust. Heavily leaning towards that. This sounds very good.

It sounds very similar, a bit deeper growl. Lots of pops driving around. I would get a video for you but my car is at the shop getting the wheels painted.

Im glad to hear that im not the only one whos popping popcorn out of his tailpipes. I also installed a steeda H pipe about a year ago and I would say that approx 1/4th of my shifts, whether its up or down, come with a pop.

I dont like it. I feel like one of those subaru kids.

i do prefer the overall tone/depth/everything else about the H pipe over the stock resonator however - so i dont plan on taking it off. Wish it didnt pop though. If anyone has a solution or fix to this pop please let us know

I was considering trying a double H pipe to see if that calmed the popping down......but it sounds like it might be just as bad if not worse lol.

The only thing that is going to calm the popping down is leaving the resonator alone and getting some custom tuning. They come on the rich side from factory. I cant exactly say they pop a lot more after deleting the resonator, what I can say is the pops are louder, they can be like gun shot loud.
