2025 Mustang production delays??

Yall may have seen this already for the 25' guys but here

I wouldn't be surprised if this had something to do with the delays while ford tries to find a fix. Projections were Q4 for the remedy but they may have some of the older stock from before this started affecting cars (I believe it was cars produced between march and july that this affects) so if they had anything left over or if they could go back to the older model but it would require longer lead times on parts that may slow down production

Same thing here. Original build week was August 11, then 18, 25... now Sept 1. GT Convertible.

Any more delays and they will be well into the 2026 cars...

There's hope! Mine just switched to "In Production" on the tracker, and the window sticker is available now too - it has a blend date of Sept 2. Good luck with your orders folks!

Isn’t the ‘25 order window closed now? Anyone know when ‘26s are going to be built if I ordered now?

Order banks opened on July 7th. I think the earliest start date you can get at this point is some time in November. If you want a DH with handling package that won’t begin production until April. Long McArthur Ford has a YouTube channel and they post production updates every Tuesday night. I ordered my 26’ on July 24th and I just got scheduled 2 weeks ago. My production starts October 20th

Update on my car, it's been "In Production" for a couple weeks now (in the tracker) and the blend date was a week ago. Still hasn't moved to "Built" in the tracker. Wondering if this is typical... From reading past threads seems like maybe, maybe not, just depends on the car?

Mine was in the blend stage for a while too so i definitely feel that. I ordered my car in march and got it in September. Here’s my dates

Look up your order number and vin on ford website you’ll be able to track your car

Dont know when you placed your order, but I placed mine on 7/24/25 at Granger Ford in Iowa (yes 14 hours away from me. They’re a good reputable dealer and offered me a great deal I couldn’t pass up on). I got the email on 8/21/24 confirming my vin and gave me a production start date of 10/20/25. You should’ve gotten your initial email from ford with your order number and it says they have I think 45 days to schedule you or something like that. You can also check out Long McArthur Ford on YouTube for the weekly production updates. They typically post late Tuesday nights and go into good detail about what to expect from the ordering process and give weekly updates on when things are happening for all ford vehicles. I just watch the mustang section though. It’ll tell you
If maybe they’re on short supply of part of a package you ordered and when to expect the next set of days to be scheduled etc
