OK - looking to update the herd...

Found a fully equipped NEW 25 on the ground A10, with everything but the Recaro's which I don't want anyway.

Price: $75,300

What you say - Yes or No...?

The price of $75,300, what is that, in relation to the sticker? At, above or below?

If a sale were to occur, is the dealer asking for add-ons?

What are the doc fees at this dealer?

Pricing is often location-specific. In my area:

2024s have a starting discount of 10%.

non-DH 2025s have a discount of 5%.

DH models are listed at sticker.

We are approaching the 2026 build cycle. 2025 DH? I'd expect a discount, even if recently built. Can't say how much. I'd want to spec out a '26 as a comparison. I feel the topic of buying a '25 when '26s will begin being built in two months gives leverage in your favor on all points. Maybe not by large amounts, but every little bit helps.

Edit,

The job report was just released. Another weaker than expected. Consumers in-general will continue to be cautious in buying big ticket items. It's another point which can be used in dealer discussions.

Local dealer has a Brand New 2024 Dark horse that list for $84,800 it has carbon fiber wheels and no Recaro's for $74,999. The Carbon fiber wheel car has to be the fastest why Ford never gave one to test at the Magazine's is beyond me. Plus, it would be the rarest Dark Horse at $9800 off sticker. The same car for the 2025 model year would be $89,415.

It is on stop sale for the recall . Who knows when you can actually get it so price is subjective.

Recall stop sale - don’t know will find out, is this the leak recall…?

$695 doc fee

MSRP is $79,840

Zero add on BS

dealer says it’s $1K below dealer invoice

been sitting in showroom since End of May eating away at their floor plan. Going to ask for another 1K off see how that goes …

Five-plus percent off sticker, no add-ons and reasonable doc fees.

I haven't been tracking the '26 pricing, but I'm sure it will be higher.

Seems like a nice deal.

The recall hold applies to all 7Gs built between Jun '24 and Jul '25. $1,000 additional off for that nuisance to secure a deal now...It's difficult for me to quantify things like this. But you're willing to buy a vehicle you can't drive for six months, vs. them keeping it and not selling it. A grand for that seems pretty fair.

I'd insist they continue to keep it inside, like in one of their shops, warehouses, or on the showroom floor.

Yes - I actually had that exact conversation, and I did get an additional $1K off. It will be kept on the showroom floor with a cover on it.

Additionally, as all of you know ordering a 26 typically will take 6-8 months to deliver and as you stated the prices will more than likely be higher.

So when all was said, but not done yet, 😊 I got a $4500 discount. What really sucks for them is they (Dealerships) are still subject to all floor plan payments regardless of the recall and inability to sell.

What’s disturbing and disappointing is another dealer in the area tried to get me under contract on one of his 25’s WHICH IS ON RECALL hold (I checked) and he the General Manager never said a word about it. How pathetic…!!!

So he was either going to skirt the recall hold - or pull some BS after the papers were signed saying ā€œOh I just found out sorryā€ šŸ˜ž

Don't forget to negotiate one year's depreciation out of your cost because sooner or later, you will pay for that depreciation. I have a feeling that dealer may have that car a long time. it isn't your everyday customer that walks in to buy one and those that do spend that much money want it the way they want it. That's why I ordered my GT which costs less as you know. The dealer where I bought my GT from still has a Dark Horse that was there as my order was being processed and was there when I picked it up. FWIW.

At this point, which is quicker…find one in dealer jail, or order a new one? As long as it’s built after July of this year, there’s no recall on it.
