Was hoping to get opinions of people with experience with either of these brand systems on S550s or S650s. I would like to hear the exhaust more in the cabin from the driver's seat. From the passenger seat the stock exhaust sounds ok already but it's barely audible most of the time on the drivers' side. I've had a few people drive it and ride and they all said the same. What stands out to me are the Stainless Works Legend or Redline and AWE touring or track. They will be H-pipe systems and go on a non-active exhaust car. Not specifically planning on headers because I imagine getting them on and later replacing gaskets will be a PITA compared to the old junk I'm used to.

Deleted… had a whole write up about headers, with stock exhaust and video then re-read your post… GL.

Oh sorry if it was confusing. I might put headers on it later but that'll be a few years off, most likely after the warranty runs out. At which point I'll also be looking at a turbo or supercharger setup.

I just recently had an AWE Switchpath installed on my GT Premium. You can definitely hear it in all modes and either seat lol. If it’s non active, I would lean to AWE Touring. Not too familiar with the Stainless Works system though. Good luck with whichever you decide!

The Touring Edition really is the sweet spot: refined enough for your daily, fierce enough for your spirited canyon runs. With drone cancellation built in and full tone on tap, it gives you the best seat in the house every time you drive.

Personally - I love the AWE touring on the coyotes. I find it to be the perfect volume and gives an opportunity to realistically add headers later on.

Stainless Works is another fantastic option, so I would urge you to check out videos and see what you prefer.

Fitment and quality will be great with either one.

With all this being said, do you have active or non active? If you want to have active exhaust, we can highly recommend switchpath.. sounds amazing and you use the switch to open or close the valves.

Regarding what you decide on, we would be more than happy to help out. Give us a shout.
