Hey man, does the RTR higher than stock? Like the vents go up higher?Just installed the RTR hood vent!! Easy install. And makes the car look very aggressive!!

Here is a side by side comparison of stock and the RTR hood vent along with some other RTR components. Hope this helps!Yes they do, they are more aggressive.
Is that a good thing, or a bad thing? I'm curious if this helps the hot air to escape, or what performance benefit it has, beyond just a different look. It's crazy, you can see how the aerodynamics changed, when the hood is wet you can tell there is no air flow behind the vents on the hood, the water spots just ride along while the sides of the hood just have the water fly off as the speed increases. Maybe I just don't remember the stock vent doing it as bad.
that and the front fin is split as well vs the factory single fin on the leading edge. As for performance gains it creates a large -pressure zone above the fins which can help extract more heat by giving it more space to flow into. The down side is you geta dead zone on the hood from the increased fin angle that goes from the back of the vent althe way up the hood.. I noticed this difference when i changed the factory out to the rtr from factory. May or may net help may change the downforce. Ive noticed mine seems to plant and tuck to the street well so no negatives as i can tell.couple main differences are flat black vs stock gloss black, and more aggressive fin angle. youll also notice the center split is more pronounced on the RTR as well.
