How well does the lift work with it not being bolted down? Every lift I’ve ever used in shops, are all bolted down.

All their lifts are designed as free standing as shown on their website. The steel 5x5 columns are encapsled by a solid steel sleeve to make it rigid and stable. With the car up in the air it is rock solid. The base plates are 12x12.

Here's a few photos of setting the lift up. I paid 600 bucks to have a Lift company pick it up at the port and then install it and certify it. Zoom in on the photos and look at how beefy the columns and base plates are. Also look at the steel sleeve that goes.around each column.

The lift comes with a jack tray that slides full length and drip pans and the 4 castor's to move the lift if you need to. See the video on how easy it is to move. When clicking on the video, then click youtube to watch it.

I normally winterize mine as well, doing much of what you do with the exception of putting mine on a lift and the car cover. I like to see my Mustang when I'm in the garage during the winter.

This year I might not winterize it at all, as we are near the middle of November and no snow in my area of South Dakota. The extended outlook for our area is not calling for any significant white stuff in the near future, and with temps in the 50s for much of this week, I don't see the likelihood of any snow sticking around for an extended period of time.

This year, I purchased my 2024 in February and have been driving it ever since.
