Oil pump gears necessary for Whipple kit?

Are the oil pump gears AND Crank Sprocket an absolute must on a street Whippled Dark Horse?

Wanted to get input, as yes the cost is minor for the risk, but is it absolutely necessary or is it overkill?

My 2 cents.
Beyond overkill, I would take OPG money and put it towards an aluminator.

They warranty the stage 1 kit without them. take that as you will

I had mine replaced while the whipple was being installed since they were that far down. This is the video of my install. It’s just one opinion, take it for what it’s worth.
