Latest 2024 Mustang Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (1/29/24)

There are currently 897 total retail unscheduled orders excluding Dark Horse, as of 1/29/24. An increase of 74 retails in USOB.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

What's the deal with the GT Perf Pkg. This might be what's holding up my build, but I was told by the dealer the order was "Clean - no parts issues".
Are dealer stock orders taking precedence over customer orders?

@DCS I think it’s really about dealer allocations at this point. I contacted my dealer and found out my order is actually Priority 3 from the initial 19 when I placed it. I really suspect it’s dealer allocations - when your dealers turn comes then based on the dealer what # your order is in will be scheduled accordingly. That’s what I have understood about the entire process

I still don't understand. The dealer's orders take priority over a customer's order?
I just checked today. I am still "Unscheduled-Clean".

Retail orders have priority over stock orders.

It means the order is in the system, has no conflicts within the order, and is waiting to be scheduled for production.

The way the salesman from Long McArthur Ford on YouTube explains it is that dealers have allocations as well. Your dealer can have an allocation for a retail order and stock order. Ford assigns allocations based on volume sales etc.

When your dealers allocation comes up as in their turn comes, a retail order will be picked from that dealer’s order list. If the dealer does not have a retail order pending, they are allowed to place stock orders to fill up their allocations. Yes I know your dealer said they have allocations as you have mentioned in your previous posts however the dealers turn to use that allocation has not come up yet. If the order is clean and unscheduled it’ll be scheduled when the dealers turn comes. If the order is NOT clean, Ford moves on to the next available retail order or allows the dealer to place a stock order if there are no clean retail orders

this has been my understanding of the process and to me it makes sense. I could be wrong.
