I finally got around to installing my whipple this weekend. I understand that theres no oil in it but I was wondering if my whipple is supposed to be grinding like this when I spin it by hand. Maybe its the paranoia getting the best of me but better safe than sorry!

I self installed my Whipple. Mine sounded about the same. I was worried like you and continued on. I don't think I spun mine prior to adding oil. I've put approx. 1000 mi. on mine since install with no audible, visual or performance issues.

That's completely normal. The coating they use on the rotors is what you're hearing slightly rubbing on the inside of the case. It's got a tight tolerance from the factory and will clearance itself when ran.
