Waterspots on Black Wheels

I had PPF installed on the front of my 2024 Mustang GT and the liquid fluid they use got all over the wheels and left waterspots. I removed all 4 wheels and used Meguires Cleaner Wax to remove them. It took a few coats and lots of hand buffing and they are gone. Did the inside of the wheels too. The product is clear coat safe. While the wheels were off I also treated the tires with Chemical Guys VRP which drys to a satin finish.

I use 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating. Initial coat was applied just before tires were installed. They are now extremely hydrophobic.
