Would really like to run a good radar detector off the mirror USB. My Uniden r8 isn’t getting enough current when using the USB A to RJ11 converter. My old escort max 2 works fine and is showing 12.8 volts.
The R8 is a beast with the front and back antennas and big display.
Is anyone running and high end detectors off this USB port?
