Ticking from the door handles...

Yes you read it right. I have ticking coming from the door handles. Go ahead, go to your 2024 Mustang, put your ear on the outside door handle, and listen for a ticking sound. It's like a clock, but ticking slightly faster than a second.

I have a 2024 mustang GT PP, 401A, Magnaride, active valve exhaust.

I'm guessing that it has to either do with the inner handle touch sensors, the alarm system, or possibly a key fob proximity sensor?
I keep the doors unlocked, but it also ticks with them locked.

If anyone knows what this is coming from, please share. If you think someone placed a kaboom device in my car, please let me know that as well.

I can barely hear my wife much less a clock, lol with all prev gens being longtube catless I wouldn’t know if my motor was knocking

Checked mine today. No ticking. There's the usual clicks from under the hood when you open the door, etc, but my door handles are quiet. If you find something out let me know.

Hello I know this is older, but I just noticed this on my car the other day and this is about the only other online related thing I can find. 100% the door handles click. Faint clock ticking noise both sides locked or unlocked. I am assuming it's to do with the alarm or motion sensors also but I can't get a definitive answer. I have a video of the noise. I guess it's normal and people just don't have the right environment or listen in close enough. I heard this cleaning my car in a silent garage (just moved so I just noticed now). Hopefully it's a normal condition but I wanted to chime in and say that this is going on for me also. I have a Feb built 2024 gt premium 401a also.
