The only regret I have about my 2024 GT convertible is that it did not have the active exhaust on it. I can find no aftermarket switchable/aftermarket system that will fit the convertible (the exhaust pipes/runners must fit under the rear frame brace master plate and most aftermarket systems say their kits won't). QUESTION: Has anyone purchased the factory active exhaust system from Ford - that should fit, and then found a way to energize the switch solenoids and select maybe via a four position switch to select the different valve opening options. I was thinking of buying a Valvetronic system and taking it to a custom pipe shop to fabricate the exhaust pipes/runners that fit under the frame brace plate but that would be a lot more work than the OEM parts. Anyone done this? I know no one has been able to connect to the front screen but i would be happy with a mounted 4 way switch. This should be doable.
