How much protection does that roll bar offer in a rollover situation on track?

Does not offer any support at all, it is purely cosmetic. It does not connect to frame or based on the chassis, so the vertical bars are not welded to the sandwich plates on the top and bottom of the chassis frame necessary for support of the weight. It is purely cosmetic. It actually is bolted to the side quarter panels that support the convertible top mechanisms. I hope to put one on my new GT when I purchase it. I just like the look.
