Rubber caps

Hello,
After wiping down the car after washing my towel caught these rubber pieces and one fell into the engine area. How I snagged both with the towel is beyond me. I

was lucky enough to be able to beat underneath on the belly pan where I could actually see it to pull it back out. Lucky!
So do these fit here marked in red?

They must be easily lost, my car doesn't have them.

Interesting. I cannot figure out where they came from. All I know I was drying the plastic over the front of the car and these rubber pieces came loose. This is the second time I've dried this area and never had this happen. Mystery!
