Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something I figured out that might help anyone else dealing with the small bulge on the top side of the RTR spoiler for the S650.
After installing mine, I noticed an odd raised area or imperfection on the top of the spoiler that was driving me nuts. At first, I thought it was a manufacturing defect or a fitment issue, but after removing the spoiler to inspect it more closely, I found the actual cause.
It turns out the rear camera cable routing inside the spoiler was the problem. The cable was pressing upward against the inner surface, creating that visible bulge on the outside. Of course even the RTR instructions don't even talk about the routing of the camera wires.
Here’s what I did to fix it:
So if you’ve noticed that little imperfection and it’s been bugging you, it’s likely not a paint or molding flaw — just the camera wire placement. Adjusting that should fix it.
I’ve attached a few pics showing what mine looked like before and after the adjustment.
Hopefully this helps someone else who was scratching their head over the same thing!

Here’s what I did to fix it:
- Removed the RTR spoiler.
- Opened it up slightly to access the rear camera wiring inside.
- Reoriented and pushed the camera cable further inside the spoiler so it sat flush and didn’t press upward.
- Reinstalled the spoiler — and the bulge was completely gone. (With new double sided tape)
