Supply chain is a little tricky - especially when demand is not a constant.

the guys have to be profitable in order to remain in business. Making a bunch of stuff just to have it take up space until the next surge is anathema.

I know it sucks when you are itching to do something, but these guys are a good crew. Patience will reward you.

1. Nah. I've found public shaming the most effective.

2. I've got a Masters in Supply Chain from the county's no 1 program (Go green!) and know the auto parts industry fairly well.

I'm just asking their marketing and supply chain folks have a talk and don't blow up potential customers unless they have actual product to sell.

Unless patience means a discount, I don't see how it will reward me.
