Hello everyone:

Under moderate-aggressive acceleration, I can hear a sliding noise in my dash behind the center-section screen. It’s consistent with the abrupt release of the clutch and it sounds like someone snatched a plastic food tray across a large sheet of sand paper. Have any of you had the same experience?

Pop out the centre speaker and have a feel around - very easy to do

Shop manual is pending and I prefer to never mar-up the interior. Any idea how to pop it out?

The grille on the top of the dash just pry's up easily and 3 bolts hold the speaker in place. DO NOT drop the bolts in the dash or you will have another rattle!
