I was wondering if anyone with the Recaro seats had looked into, or done, a seat raise for the front of the seat? I have really long legs and with the lack of front height adjustment it's a little low in the front. I'm wondering if it's as simple a fix as just making a spacer for under the front seat mounts? I love the Recaro's in my Raptor, but those are fully adjustable, besides being heated and cooled. Thanks for any input.

I have not, but I have installed something similar in both of my Honda SXSs.

One solution were individual, solid steel "cubes" with holes drilled through them, using longer bolts vs factory.

The other was a ~16" hollow steel tubes (one on each side) that installed in a similar way.

Not sure if something like that could work for the DH.

P.S. - If you raise that seat: "“You got some ‘splainin’ to do!”

if you are flexible like Gumby, go for it but the car is already challenging enough to get in and out of. Every bit your raise that seat, is going to tighten up that opening just a little bit more.

I'm thinking I can just hook my ginormous man unit over the steering wheel and swing on in. I've been looking at what's in dealer stock and the majority have the Recaro's. That's what has me looking into this. If I order one, I would opt for the regular seats with H/C. I found in the past that even a 1/2" raise feels like a HUGE change, it doesn't take too much.

I'm 6' 2" 250 lbs I get into my DH as if I'm a girl with a mini skirt on. I sit in the seat then swing my legs in no problem.

That's pretty much what I had in mind. I did similar on 2 cars I had in the past. I didn't know if the DH had a simple seat mount or not. Thanks

Try it being 6' 2' 230# and having a full microprocessor knee/prosthetic leg!
