This explains a couple of things I ran into when I retrofitted adaptive cruise to my base GT. One of the configuration changes in the IPMA module was that the GT Premium uses “network” for BLISS, while the base GT uses “hardwire.”

I discovered this when I originally made the changes to the IPMA and immediately received a BLISS malfunction indicator, a system i was not working on. I’m guessing the driver and passenger door modules need to be retrofitted (wired in) potentially adding pins to existing harnesses and wiring them to the BCM or other modules.

Bummer this was one of the more expenisve (parts wise) projects i watned to do. I’m jealous that you have a donor car to harvest parts from!
