I have a Galaxy S23 with a Simtect crystal clear case and have zero issues.

I’ve found it to be a little persnickety on the location of the phone, as others have described. got an iPhone 14 in a slim case, and it’s gotta be just so... and then <chime> it’s charging.

Like others on the site I have had difficulty getting the wireless charger to work with my iPhone. It would charge slow and the phone would get hot. By accident, I discovered it was user error. The proper procedure for using the charger is to place your phone as far forward in the cradle as it will go. Next you need to center it left to right in the cradle the best you can. The antenna small so if the phone isn't centered correctly it will induce current in the case resulting in heating instead of a charge. I found in the three mile drive to work I could boost the charge by about 10% which is probably faster than my plug in charger without heating.
I am thinking about making small spacers for the side to prevent the phone from sliding during spirted driving.
I put my phone which has an cover and metal pad that mounts to a magnet phone holder in my other cars so my car says it won't charge it. so I just bought an Amazon 1 foot cable and plug it in if I need to. Now I don't worry about it.
