I don't think he is a member here, but I saw this on FB on the 2024 S650 Mustang Gt / Dark Horse page.

Erik Andre Radzins, and the rest is a quote by him:

MICRO RECORD UPDATE: Your thoughts?
Back story, this Dark Horse is bone stock other than the ProCharger P-1X supercharger kit and a used fuel system I made back in 2019 for another S550 nicknamed "jack"
So my questions are this... How much power do you think headers would pick up on this car? Do you think the stock mufflers are holding it back? If you owned this, what would your next mod be?
While you are answering, I am going to jump in it, sit in traffic, and enjoy the drive home... knowing traction isn't an option lol.
Happy Boostin Everyone!

and in the comments he wrote about the fuel system:

it’s stock fuel rails, with a Lawn Racing rail mod kit (bypass line). And used Fore hat, with some Hell cat pumps I bought off Amazon. Then I just made the lines myself with push lock stuff. #8 feed and #6 retune.
Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

I know it is how centrifugal superchargers work, but I cannot get over how the torque and horsepower start out so low and just keep climbing. The torque peak is above the factory redline rpm.

Hey man,

Erik here (the guy that tuned the car, and I guess bolted parts to it lol).

Sorry I don't get on here much, and basically forgot the log in...however wanted to answer your question with the Long and short of why the TQ is lower in the rev range.

1) The car already had massive traction issues at 714whp at the track when it was running 10.2's at 141mph on random 93 octane. So making more TQ down low would just make matters worse, and require the car to be launched in 2nd gear (which is what most whipple cars have to do)

2) TQ at low piston speed is hard on rods, so by nature I wanted the car to make more power as the rev range went up, to put less stress on the rods at a low piston speed. (I did this by limiting the amount of timing and cly pressure the car could make down there)

3) Since the car only sees below 3,500 for about .7 of a second on the street or track (launching from a dig) its really not a focus for me. What I focus on is moving the cams to make PEAK TQ right in the sweet spot of where the car makes its gear changes. It shifts at 7,950rpm, so you can see the TQ is right in the meat and potatos of that.

Hope this answers your question! Have a great rest of your week!
Erik

So he is on here!
I mostly stick to FB, since I am buried with PMs as it is.... and 90% of the time I am on the dyno or sending out tunes to folks. Feel free to also give me a follow on there, which is my full name thats already been listed in this thread. :)
