Parade seating on the folded roof

I have a 2024 convertible and have seen conflicting messages regarding rear seat parade seating. Some say that the 650 convertibles have enough protection to have someone sit on the folded roof (to take part in the parade) instead of setting crates and boards on the back seat to raise them up. Any experience in the group with this?

Letting someone sit on the folded roof sounds like a really bad idea to me.
