OEM 5.0 & GT Emblem, Question

I just received my set of satin black 5.0 and GT emblems; with precut double sided adhesive tape (MCM marked on one side of it). The emblems are metal and DO NOT have the OEM type locating studs on their backs. They DO have shallow threaded locating stud holes in their backs though.

So, for you folks who may have already replaced your OEM 5.0 and GT badges.....................any idea if the OEM locating studs are threaded into the backs of the OEM emblems?

If not; what do you "body work guys/gals" think? I know the locating studs are not "absolutely necessary to getting the replacements properly located and level

Swapped mine out and the 5.0 and rear GT emblem has aligning tabs on the badged, no screw in pins or anything, only the front horse is bolt on

I CHANGED MY 5.0 WITH 5.0 ON TOP AND COYOTE ON THE BOTTOM.
