One more issue: there's only about half an inch of material on the underside to apply a bumper guard to. The majority of the guard is floating 🫤

Tell me about these scrape guards please. I just bought their carbon fiber splitter, and I want to be sure it's protected. I've never had an aftermarket splitter, so I've never dealt with this issue.

Tell me about these scrape guards please. I just bought their carbon fiber splitter, and I want to be sure it's protected. I've never had an aftermarket splitter, so I've never dealt with this issue.
It's just a bumper guard that sticks to the underside. You just peel off the lining and stick it on. Their CF splitter has more room for them to stick to than the plastic one, so you'll be fine. Sliplo is the name brand, but there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that work the same way. The guards have a little space between them so you can bend them to follow curves. I think they come in 12" strips. It's easy to install and lasts a while if you use the adhesive promoter that it should come with.
