I am guessing that ford has taken this one on a road trip, due to it being dirtier than the eb convertible. Another factor is that ford may not want to clean it, to save money, and because it would just get dirty again. I know that almost everyone here washes their car on a daily basis, but to ford it is just another pre production car.

Yep, it's a tool, and one that may even be crushed when its useful life is over.

But if I was the test driver, I'd be taking it home and washing it :crackup:

I don't think the test drivers are allowed to wash the car. If they were they would be clean most of the time, no?

I'd also guess based on that logic that they're not allowed to take these home either.
