Other than noticing the car cannot see wifi are there any additional steps one can check to see if it’s just a signal issue or if the modem actually went on break after this last oil change?
The issue was initially noticed when Fordpass didn’t update for the oil life, the app won’t even display the last update but works properly when i switch to the truck.
the website version of ford vehicle info is the same, no new info for the mustang but the truck no problem.
thought, ok fine must be bad cell coverage so i thought about going ahead and finally adding the car to my local wifi but low and behold no networks detected, couldn’t even add them manually.
edit: side note - i do see the car hotspot so something is working but since it’s not talking ford or the outside world didn’t see the point trying to connect. Unless you’re gonna tell me to find the local gateway once connected and to log into the modem interface and toggle that special setting over on that hidden tab.
