Hi forum members,
I have a near new automatic gt convertible ,done only 2,000 klms.
It has developed a metallic clicking noise that is audible when shifting from park to reverse & also sometimes when accelerating or decelerating moderately.

Have any members experienced a similar thing & can you share what caused it?
Thank you very much for your responses.

I don’t hear anything for mine. Maybe try to video record the noise and send it to the dealership.

I have a sound when shifting from drive to reverse but it's more a clunk/thud. Ot also happens whwn down shifting at low speeds. Im due to have the half shaft flange replaced. Ford have ordered the part and am waiting. Im based in the UK so it's taking longer than normal.
I'd recommend taking it in to be inspected

Mine is going in Thursday as I am positive that I am missing oil in the tranny. Changing speed seem to me like it's slipping and when I floor it I get a loud clunk noise.
So If I was you I would bring it to the dealer asap.

I was reading in this forum that it seem to happen quite fairly that the tranny is missing oil
