Was wondering if anyone has installed or tried these tips over the stock active exhaust tips? I have painted the tips black; however, paint doesn't hold up well to road debris. So was wondering if I slide these over for better finish and protection to achieve the desired black finish on the tips.

Seems like a good design to mount in place and avoid cutting/welding close to valves.

That price looks steep! Just for tips….
You can probably spend that much money on a better mod.
