Latest 2024 Mustang Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (4/2/24)

My dealer has an allocation and I have a priority code 5. Yet still waiting since November 10 for a black GT Premium, Manual with Performance Package. Only addition is PP. This would appear to be an easy order to fill.

Damn, you’re making me nervous. That seems like a long time for that spec to have no updates. Have you checked with dealer recently? I just ordered mine a few weeks ago (White GT Premium, PP, NPP, AE, Manual), and I need it before September or I’ll be out of time!

I called Ford about a month later and received a Vin. & a built date of 4-24-24.
I know, it may or may not happen on that date?

From my understanding there is a material shortage. I talked to my dealer he put me in touch with the girl who handles their ordering. I guess it's an issue with the PP wheels.

There are currently 976 total retail unscheduled orders excluding Dark Horse, as of 4/2/24. An increase of 54 retails in USOB since two weeks ago.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

Finally have confirmation from my Dealer of their allocation and a tentative production date of Week 23...after placing my order on 4/6/2023!

From all the information I've gathered from delays it seems to be correlated with the Performance Pack and shortages with it. I made an order 3/18/24: GT, Premium, 401A, Active Exhaust, Nite PP. And got a VIN the same week of making the order and its been scheduled to be built the week of 05/06/24

Our 2024 GT Mustang Premium is, as of today, (in production).
I’m guessing if I ordered the Performance package it would of taken longer?
Ford said it should be built this week?
When it says built, I should be able to get the Window Sticker?
I realize the BLEND DATE is the actual Built
I hope to receive it before !

You got super lucky. I ordered a week before on the 11th. I’ve got nothing holding me back. GT convertible, 401A, active exhaust and California Special. Haven’t heard a word yet . The wait is killing me!
