A quick call out to those attending the PRI Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, to come out and visit the KPM Fuel Systems booth # 445.

Does the KPM800 require a tune or having anything checked on a stock engine with no tune? The instructions states “It is your responsibility to have your vehicle checked and/or re-tuned by specialist methods to ensure correct fueling and engine safety and reliability.”

The instructions also state “ KPM will take NO responsibility or give NO guarantees on the operation of this product for fitment not carried out by a KPM Fuel Systems dealer or experienced qualified technician.” It appears to be a pretty easy install, but I’d hate to not have a warranty by installing myself. Does self installation mean there is no warranty?

I’m looking to put this in my HPDE car as I’ve experienced fuel surging on track when the tank gets below half full.

The intructions state that we give no guarantees on the OPERATION when self fitment is carried out. This is due to instances when a customer has blamed the fuel system due to incorrect fitment. .
The actual KPM Fuel Module is warranted for 12 months against mechanical defects..

We can guarantee the KPM fuel Module has solved the surge issue on every race track that we know of, including Daytona.

Is "fitment" a funny word for installation, or am I missing something?
