I am new here so please forgive me but a search on "ipod" did not yield much. Has anyone gotten the ipod nano to work (connect) via the USB port? Mine does not come up as a source like it did on my 2015 car.

I have relegated my iPods(yes I have more than one) essentially to my drawer of outdated electronics. My iPhone connects instantly with Bluetooth and has more memory that any iPod.
I know that does not answer your question. My guess is that iPods are too old.
I would put all of what is on the iPod either on a phone or USB drive. That should work.

Took your advice, copied my whole itunes library from my laptop to a USB and it works great, even the voice commands to play songs, artists, etc. Thanks for the help.
