I have the worst luck with tires

Noticed this when I came outside. Picked up a nail in the sidewall before I even made my first payment

Thinking about switching to all pilot sport 4s since these tires only last like 15k miles anyways

Kinda want to switch to some good aftermarket wheels for better fit but I'm stumped at picking the right ones. I like the velgen classic v2 but they're expensive. Any ideas?

I know it hurts but my first car with low profile tires was in the 1990’s. I was not wealthy for sure and I had 4 tires plugged, one of which was plugged twice. I think I kept it 2 years-ish.

I’d kill to have the Trofeo’s last more than 5k miles, but they’ll be goners before that ever hits.

I worked for Ford motor company for more than 20 years, and I had company cars that entire time with all insurance and maintenance cost covered. Not once in all that time did I ever blow a tire. I decided to buy a new 2014 Mustang outright because it was the last year of the retro design that I liked. A few weeks later, I caught the edge of a small pothole that tore the sidewalls on BOTH of my passenger side tires. Of course that happened as soon as I become fully responsible for the replacement cost.
