I recently got an all black 2024 GT Premium with a red interior, and ever since I got it I have been pushing it by going over 4500 rpm about 10 times. Is this going to be detrimental to my car?

no.....there is nothing that says you cant go over 4500RPM ... so much misinformation on this subject (someone was referencing a generic article that had nothing to do with the S650)

On the S550 they said no redline for first 100 miles and then no track days for first 1000

Vary your RPM- Do a hard pull here and there (not back to back to back to back) for first 1000 miles and you will be fine

For those that want to keep it under 4500RPM- that's OK too

Source- I used to work with engineers for the OEs and my buddy builds motors for multi-million dollar cars- Heck my buddy bought a new Huracan recently and they told him just no redline first 100 miles- they said he was perfectly good to run it up to redline after the first 100 miles- same thing just no track days

Are there any specific limitations regarding remote rev usage?

I havent seen any - if my car I personally probably wouldnt do for the first 100 miles though- but probably no harm ....I mean for the C8 they restricted things during break in- would think if really important Ford would do the same?

Probably not. The critical wear points are the crank shaft bearings and rings mating with the cylinder walls. If it's for a short time and you're not putting a heavy load on the engine, the oil film will be sufficient to protect you even if the surfaces haven't completely mated. If your drag racing, before the engine is broke in, it would be more likely to cause damage but even that isn't a sure thing. Just to be safe, watch it for the remainder of your break-in period.

Good to know. From what I’ve read, remote rev (third rev) takes it to 5k.

The service manager at my local dealer says the s650 all come factory broken in and the 1000 mile period is not a thing anymore.
